The Delta Optimist, founded in 1922, serves the towns of Ladner, South Delta/Tsawwassen and the surrounding rural lands. The Delta Optimist participates whole heartedly in local activities and sponsors a number of local sports teams, festivals, and trade fairs each year, including the Delta Chamber of Commerce, Tsawwassen Business Improvement Association and the Boys and Girl’s Club of Delta.
The South Delta Leader believes strongly in supporting our communities as well as partnering in local events. The Leader’s team serves on the Delta Hospital Foundation, Ladner Business Association, Delta Chamber of Commerce Awards Gala Committee as well as volunteering many hours to the community. The South Delta Leader is delivered every Friday to more than 16,000 homes and businesses in Ladner and Tsawwassen as well as more than 200 businesses on Tilbury Island.
