Two Wins for Canadian Business

C-311: An Act to amend the Importation of Intoxicating Liquors Act (interprovincial importation of wine for personal use)

The provincial and national chamber networks advocated for this bill and it has gone to the Senate for committee hearings. The bill seems to be clearing these committees quickly and may even pass before the summer recess  –  a win for Canadian consumers and producers alike.

Bill C-25: Pooled Registered Pension Plans has cleared Third Reading

Further to the Canadian Chamber of Commerce’s PRPP 101 session in the spring in support of this legislation, the he bill is on its way to the Senate and it is expected to be passed by summer, achieving another win for Canadian business.
